June 2009—A talented young researcher from Argentina, Dr. Ivan D'Orso was among the first recipients of amfAR's Mathilde Krim Fellowships in Basic Biomedical Research. amfAR's Vice President for Research, Dr. Rowena Johnston, caught up with Dr. D'Orso at his lab in San Francisco and talked with him about his work, his background, and his aspirations.
