On March 26, 2018, amfAR honored the innovative American artist KAWS and philanthropist and longtime HIV/AIDS activist Cathy Lee at its fourth annual amfAR Gala Hong Kong. The black-tie event included a cocktail reception, dinner, live auction, and spectacular live performances by Grammy Award-nominated singer and songwriter Tove Lo and Grammy-winning pop sensation and long-time amfAR supporter Kylie Minogue.
In just four years, amfAR Gala Hong Kong has raised more than US$14 million in support of the Foundation’s lifesaving work.
Pansy Ho, a leading supporter of the gala since its inception and an influential figure in the Hong Kong and international business community, served as Honorary Chair of this year’s event, which was presented by AMTD Group and AMTD Foundation. American Express, Lorraine Schwartz Fine Jewelry, MGM China Holdings Limited, and Champagne Perrier-Jouët were Signature Sponsors.
