Lisa Sardegna

Lisa SardegnaLisa Sardegna is an architectural conservator specializing in the analysis and preservation of historic finishes. In both her professional and charitable activities, she strives to promote the arts and sciences that enrich both her home community in the Bay Area and the world.

After interning for two years at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Ms. Sardegna earned an M.S. in historic preservation at the University of Pennsylvania. She now works on projects at home and abroad, often volunteering her time to preserve sites in great need.

In her life as well as in her work, Ms. Sardegna strives to make a difference in the world and to work toward a positive future for the next generations. To further this goal, she has provided essential support to amfAR in its efforts to address the global HIV/AIDS epidemic. She has also supported arts and education programs in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as conservation education abroad to teach people how to preserve their local cultures. In addition to serving on the board of trustees of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, she supports the paintings conservation department and the museum in general.

Ms. Sardegna lives in San Francisco with her husband, David Carrillo.
