AnnMari Shannahan joined amfAR’s staff as vice president of Public
Information in May 2010. AnnMari came to amfAR from The Ingenuity Lab, a
creative studio that she founded after 17 years of working in the branding,
marketing and communications space. Throughout her career, AnnMari has led the
development of inspirational marketing initiatives for not for profit
organizations and Fortune 500 and start up companies including Texas Children's
Hospital, PBS, Vulcan Productions, Food Network, People Magazine, Black
Entertainment Television, TransitCenter, Upromise, Genzyme, Genentech, Abbott
Labs, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer.
Prior to The Ingenuity Lab, AnnMari served as the Principal of Client
Services for the design and branding firm Method, she was a Managing Partner and
Director of Client Services with marketing agency Greater Than One, and Director
of Advanced Branding for Viant, an international digital consulting firm. She
also held management positions with Razorfish and Riptide Communications.
AnnMari holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Connecticut State
University. She has continued her education throughout her professional career
by successfully pursuing executive education business programs including Harvard
Business School’s program in Consumer Brand Marketing.
