New York, NY, October 11, 2011— amfAR’s Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles will take place on Thursday, October 27, at the Chateau Marmont. Produced by Josh Wood Productions, this event celebrates all aspects of men’s style. The design theme for the evening is “Black Tie//Hot Metal.”
Andy Cohen will host the event, which will feature a tribute to amfAR’s Founding International Chairman, the late Dame Elizabeth Taylor, presented by Sandra Bullock, and special performances by legendary musicians Sinead O’Connor and Deborah Harry. Kevin Huvane and amfAR Chairman Kenneth Cole will serve as Honorary Chairs of the event, accompanied by Event Chairs Larry Boland and Patricia Quick and Vice Chairs Mohammed Al Turki, Greg Berlanti, David Bohnett and Tom Gregory, Stephen Huvane, Dan Jinks, Ryan Murphy, Sean Patterson, Alan Poul, Rich Ross, and Tom Whitman. Host Committee members include Joseph Abboud, Christos Garkinos, Kenneth Gillett and Ron Maassen.
Guests at the Inspiration Gala Los Angeles will also enjoy specially crafted Grey Goose cocktails, dinner, a live auction of fashion pieces and luxury items and a men’s fashion presentation.
